Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My 996.1 is out of commission for a couple of weeks while I get my ECU flashed to RoW tune so my next project is to install the factory roof rack. I mostly bike so I'm looking to either pickup a 1Up tray or a Thule Upride. For inspiration, please post your roof rack setup and any toys you have attached to the rack. I'm also thinking of installing a roof box eventually if my plan to drive cross country next year pans out so would like to see pics of roof box setups.
996 oem roof rack is the best looking bar set up. I have an older oem Porsche bike attachment but its blah.
My Thule uprights are way better and they stay on my Panamera roof rack all the time now. I have a Thule roof box that matches the 996.
Realized I have very few photos of these setups but Ive also carried a surfboard for cool points.
@circuit.heart
makes Thule and Yakima adapters to level out those aftermarket bars. Quality product and excellent support.

Found a couple of photos. The bike attachments in the Panamera re waaaay better than the oem porsche ones I have.
and the C4S in the photo isnt mine but it give you the idea.
That looks good also and might be easier to put the bike on the roof since you're grabbing the fork legs and the frame so the lift is lower (I'm short).
I haven't installed mine yet, but I bought a set of low profile risers from
ArtnD
(check out his work on this forum), and a used set of cross bars..... planning to put the kid's softball roller bags and a giant Yeti up there for travel ball weekends.
