Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know of any storage accessories for a 996 that would hang on the spare tire and hold miscellaneous accessories such as a first aid kit, flash light, etc? Thank you in advance for any suggestions and/or comments.

POST 2Original post

In Excellence I've seen advertised a storage device that goes over the spare tire for CD's and the like. Don't know if it could also be used for the items you mention.

POST 3Original post

I bought the Porsche first aid kit (apparently comes standard on euro cars) from carnewal.com, and it fits just in front of the CD changer. I put a small maglite in my glove box. The Porsche umbrella fits in the passenger side sill cubby. The pocket in front of the spare has my tire gauge, and some other misc. items, and you could easily fit a full size flashlight there.
