Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh man is southern Florida ever fun. Cindy and I have had a great time in the Cab (driving). As someone sho has lived in the Northeast for too many years I really enjoy nicer, cleaner roads, warmth, and very friendly people. We're down in the Naples area in Fiddler's Creek not too far from Sloth. Anyone else around between Naples and Marco?? Man, this is a GREAT place!

POST 2Original post

I grew up in Florida. How big is your new air conditioner???

POST 3Original post

Don -- You may find July and August keep the top up and the A/C on! On another note, if you truly are a resident now, you are required to register "Misty" in Fl. within 30 days. Should you have the misfortune to attract the attention of a policeman, it's just another thing they can give you a ticket for. Dual residence -- no problem. I have always loved the plate, so hope you can keep it or duplicate it with a FL tag. Welcome!!

POST 4Original post

Don, That is all true. However, Naples has enough of a "snowbird" or non full time resident population that tags are usually overlooked. Not to say it would never hapen, but I have never heard of it.

POST 5Original post

Sloth -- Concur completely. Having spent many years in the military with my Florida tags coast-to-coast, it is a low probablilty, especially in Naples for all the reasons you say. But with all the tag colors now available here in Florida, who knows, Don might find a color he likes better for "Misty"!

POST 6Original post

"You may find July and August keep the top up and the A/C on!" then there's April, May, June, September, and October as well :-) it's a perfect place for "snowbirds" who can head north when fla turns into hell.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We still have the house on the Cape for the summer and that makes me happy. Only problem will be mileage on the Cab. Transporting it back and forth is pretty costly! Re residency. FL puts out a whole pamphlet on how to become FL residents. We're still MA residents and will remain so until we changeover. Hey John D. got an extra bedroom for you and Jen anytime!

POST 8Original post

Don, I was waiting for a post like that from you! I'm think I'm dieing already, and the cold has just started (appx 20 degs the night before last!) and 40's in the day. Well I got my FLA home, but since I can't retire for a few more years(if business ever picks up) I've Rented it back to the nice 'ol Folks I bought it from for as much as a year! Which will pay most of the monthly mortage! Fortunatly my brother -in-law lives next door and have a great place to stay on our visits (and look @ my new house!). Things could be worse! Enjoy Bill

POST 9Original post

I am also full time in Naples. Moved here last year from Princeton, NJ and love it. We are in Mediterra. 2003 C4S Seal/graphite FabSpeed Air Box FabSpeed Headers GHL Exhaust Full Alu Pkg B&M etc.

POST 10Original post

SHUT UP DON!!!!!!! dammm sno bird.... We looked at the east Fla to retire, but the bride was too far away from the kids. I told her we could send the checks, she wouldn't go for it. Best of luck. BTW, if you still want to keep your hand in - my bud owns Optima Bank, there may be a mutual benefit. PM me.

POST 11Original post

Don this is easy buy another Cab... I think you need a clean slate for new Mods!

POST 12Original post

Small world, my folks are building in Mediterra. I did not think anybody else was in Naples aside from myself and now Don. You got mail.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sandoval, I tell you what. I'll give you my wife's cell phone number. You tell her how much withdrawal I'll go thru w/o the Porsche. Let's see: 1. New Home: 2: All new furnishings: 3: 2nd Porsche for Don!

POST 14Original post

Hey Don, Perhaps they would cut you a deal on this beauty, it is even local if you want to take a look... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442671752

POST 15Original post

don if you got the new Porsche the rest of the equation would go like this: 4: no more marriage: 5: divide all the above by 2

POST 16Original post

Don: Welcome to sunny Florida. Apologies for last night temt drop to 61 degrees! Wil you be running at Sebring this weekend with the Suncoast PCA? (Off topic, I noticed from your profile and as a rennlist life member that you encourage people to join rennlist. I have tried to buy a membership online several times, all unsuccessfully. My e-mails to the "administrator" have been unanswered. Any thoughts?)

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pedsurg, unfotunately I'm back on Cape Cod for the Holidays. The Cab is still in FL and I'm going thru some withdrawal symptoms So I won't be at Sebring...but we plan to become FL residents and spend at least 7 mos down there. BTW it was 27 here on the Cape this AM with wind. It sucks, but we gotta be with the kids and gkids for the Holidays.. Re Rennnlist membership. I know John D. has been travelling on his regular job so he's always a bit behind. I'll mention it to him.
