Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

With my coilovers at the current height, I am running about 1.5 degrees but I understand that with the Corsas, I should be much closer to 2 degrees.
Leading evidence: 'Run about 1.5 degrees' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run about 1.5 degrees' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

As far as the seats, I don't know anyone else looking for a set but I am now going to order myself a set of one piece GT3 seats and store the ones from your wife's car.

BY the way, if someone else wants Sport Seats from a GT3, let me know I have another set from my GT3 (you got my wife's seats).

These bars don't require the use of a metal ball end link and use the factory end link.

These allow for camber adjustment by being created out of two, interlocking pieces that use shims in between the two halfs to create variations in length thus increasing or decreasing camber.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone considered installing the GT3 front control arms on their 996? These allow for camber adjustment by being created out of two, interlocking pieces that use shims in between the two halfs to create variations in length thus increasing or decreasing camber. Anyhow, I was surprised to learn that the parts are actually inexpensive. About $340 per side (Canadian Dollars). Anyone have any experiences/opinions/comments(I mean anyone with an intelligent response, not JLJ with his wise-*** and insulting remarks. He's lucky he's a friend of mine)?
Thanks in advance
Alon,
FWIW you can adjust camber by moving the shocks inboard or out in the ovalized holes. For DE and R compounds simply ovalize the holes a little more to get neg 2 to 2.5 camber. Using the GT3 A arms and shims you can get more negative camber for race tires. If you do this Motorsport also suggests the use of the caster adjusters because the GT3 is very sensitive to caster. The stock GT3 (not race car) suspension does not have adjustable caster. The adjustable bits cost 1500 bucks a side! As upgrades go, the adjustable sway bars from the GT3 would be a nice thing on a C2.

Thanks Bob. I haven't ovalized the upper mount holes for fear of weakening the strut towers but if many people have done this, I may be bold enough to try it. With my coilovers at the current height, I am running about 1.5 degrees but I understand that with the Corsas, I should be much closer to 2 degrees. If the ovalizing approach is safe, it is certainly a more reasonable approach. By the way, I have the H&R sway bars which are identical to the GT3 bars in size and stiffness. The rear is adjustable just like the GT3 and the front is not but designed to offer the same affect as the GT3 bar at the second to stiffest setting. These bars don't require the use of a metal ball end link and use the factory end link. I can use the rear to dial in any fine tuning when necessary. As far as the seats, I don't know anyone else looking for a set but I am now going to order myself a set of one piece GT3 seats and store the ones from your wife's car.
Thanks for your input.
this guy is figuring about 10% off retail price. My dealer here in the bay area gives me 15% off retail. Sunset Porsche in Portland Oregon does it for Cost + 15%, no tax either.
