Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought my C2 about a month ago, my first Porsche, and although I haven't really checked the mileage doesn't seem all that great.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just added up all the numbers in my log book and found that in 10383 miles of driving I have used 747.6 gals of gas costing me $1270.40 US. When I get really ambitious I'll figure out how much I've spent on oil, brake fluid, brake pads, oil analysis, and extras ( Bird Armrest, Bumper plugs, etc)!

POST 2Original post

You have entirely too much time on your hands :-), As I do writing this post....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nah, I was just doing a good cleaning on the interior and I had all these gas slips that I was taking out of the mileage log. Curiosity got the best of me . Thank God I have an adding machine.

POST 4Original post

OK, I'm curious. That amounts to something less than 14 mpg. My daily driver Explorer gets better mileage than that. I bought my C2 about a month ago, my first Porsche, and although I haven't really checked the mileage doesn't seem all that great. Since this is Daddy's weekend/trip car I don't really care............but what should I expect?

POST 5Original post

Certainly individual driving habits will dictate MPG. My C4S 6 speed has the Nav system plus the MPG read out in the display area of the tach. On extended highway trips averaging 75-80 MPH, I get 24 MPG. Combined city/highway, gets 16-17 MPG. Combined city/highway with heavier right foot gets 14 MPG.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All my entries next to Watkins Glen, NHIS, and recently VIR are in the 7.1 to 9.0 range. The entries that correspond to highway driving are in the 25-27 mile range.

POST 7Original post

im getting around 20mpg average so far, but i drive pretty long distances at a time

POST 8Original post

FWIW The absolute LAST thing you want to do with your Porsche is actually add up its true cost, particulalrly upgrades and mods. Trust me, you better off simply not knowing. Cheers,

POST 9Original post

On average I get 25Mpg. But service costs reduce it to about 2Mpg. If Porsche offered me a guaranteed 10Mpg with free service and warranty I would take it
