I have a set of 18" OEM turbolooks in 7.5 and 10s that I just had completely stripped, checked for cracks and powder coated in Dupont glossy Black.

I have a set of 18" original sport design wheels in good condition. 3 have no curbrash one (a rear) as a very small curb rash that can be fixed for about $150 here in Atlanta. The fronts are 7.5", the rears are 10". The wheels have SO3s on them 225/40 and 265/35. Front tires have 65% thread left, rears have 45 to 50% left. I'm looking for a reasonable offer and I am willing to ship but would rather sell locally.

My car came with sport designs also (now relegated to winter duty). I know you'd like to think their "value new" is $3500, but check with

and you'll see they are letting them go for ~$2000/set brand spankin new. Then, if you consider your tires relatively worthless, and that one of the wheels is damaged (I have no idea how you can fix a stainless steel rim protector for $150 -- it can't be painted)... Hmmm

Over the years, with all my cars I have learned that even slightly used wheels are not worth near what new ones are.... even though the wheels in of themselves are not a "wear" item, even the best kept wheels are subject to a lot of grime, etc....
I've certainly lost dough on selling used wheels in the past... it's just the name of the game I guess....
I could use a good set of auto-x rims that don't need to be perfect....

If it's autocross wheels that you want, I have just the ticket for you! I have a set of 18" OEM turbolooks in 7.5 and 10s that I just had completely stripped, checked for cracks and powder coated in Dupont glossy Black. You can have those for $1600, including mounted and balanced Michelin Sport Cups (225 and 265) that have at the very least 15 heat cycles and 70% of thread left in them, if you pick-up shipping. They are GREAT looking at the track but too aggressive for my taste on the street and I don't plan to track this new car for a while anyway!!! Let me know if you want pictures...
If you are really set on the Sport designs, at $1350 and I can keep the used SO3s we have a deal.
By the way, it's quite funny to see the way that this thread is evolving, I was expecting private messages or e-mails but haggling in public has its charm! How about a price comparison...
I initialy offered a set of narrow body (7.5x18 & 10x18) hollow spoke Technology wheels for $2000 with painted crests and rear tires that were not in the best of shape. Two of the wheels had very minor scratches that could not be seen till you were within two feet. I did not get any bites till I came down to $1400. The same wheels in slightly better condition sold for maybe $100 more.
