This is not a probability of success.

I tried all of the usual used car sites (autotrader, carsdirect, cars.com, etc...) but never found the car I was after.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T222516Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just bought and took delivery of a used Guards Red 996 and couldn't be happier (see http://hobbystage.net/porsche/longhorn911/ ). Because I was after some very hard-to-find options, I literally searched for three months before finding this car. I tried all of the usual used car sites (autotrader, carsdirect, cars.com, etc...) but never found the car I was after. I finally decided to try Thalist.com (a Rennlist sponsor by the way). Literally within hours of submitting my specs to Thalist.com I had 3-4 dealers contact me with cars outfitted very closely to what I was looking for. I ended up buying my car from one of these dealers. Thalist.com did in hours what the others sites couldn't do in months! I highly recommend this site if you are looking for a used high-end car. I am not affiliated with Thalist.com in any way. I'm just a very happy user of their fine service!
