Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, just bought a trailer hitch that goes on the bumper covers. The single axle trailer has lights. How do I hook up the lights? Do I need to hook up the lights? Trailer used only to bring slicks to and from track, plus some goodies like drinks, jack, oil/toolbox, etc. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

yes you do need to hook up the lights on the trailer...never done it on a porsche, but you basically have to tap a wiring harness for the trailer it the rear light. Best way would be to remove the tail light, and tap into the wires there. You'll need to know which wires power which bulbs, etc. Either by trial and error, or ask Loren for the wiring diagram... Depending on what you're carrying, alot of people buy the roof transport system and carry slicks to the track that way...
