Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
From their site, I was just able to decipher that it uses an GT3 throttle body and the larger displacement but there is obviously much more to the equation.
Leading evidence: 'Use gt3 throttle body and the larger displacement' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use gt3 throttle body and the larger displacement' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great video. Love the ideas and vision on this build. No question, the 996 is too good of a car and platform which will result in many build ideas and shops that specialize in the 996. Good to see!
I watched it last night and enjoy that channel. Would love to learn more about the motor and shifter. From their site, I was just able to decipher that it uses an GT3 throttle body and the larger displacement but there is obviously much more to the equation. The 4.3L should be a ripper. The seats look amazing as well. Just a fantastic package overall. I thought it was cool that the owner has raced and owned many different 911 generations but still elected the 996 platform. Statements like this are a huge endorsement for the 996, and especially for those that want to drive their cars.
Sick - was going to say, the cluster with no surround is pretty cool. I think I'd prefer the surround though after a while. Sweet car. Love the interior too.
I love the subtle interior updates, but I'm curious why they left the center console in, instead of doing the GT3 console removal mod.
The motor sounded amazing, what a great setup. I hope they sell a lot of them
+1 for the GT3 forward console delete. Totally love mine. I really like the alcantara treatment on the dash and mid console. Need to find a shop in Denver to do that for me.
Super clean and nice for sure. A bit of a goofy question, but why was the left side of the main cluster fuzzy but all the other views of the other cluster gauges were clear to see??
There is a custom surround on the gauges, otherwise they'd be floating above a pocket with exposed wires. I dislike that look a lot more than I thought I would - a thin/lightweight surround would do the interior a lot of good IMO.
Really want to know how they got that sound from the M96 though, that is way better (exotic pitch/timbre) than any off-the-shelf exhaust clip I've heard thus far.
Two years ago I had the pleasure of driving a 4.4L that Jake Raby built . It was phenomenal with torque everywhere . It was normally aspirated and just a hoot to drive . I drove it about 50 miles or so on twisty 2 lane mountain road and the sound was sublime . It was a big step up from my 3.8 Stage two .
I might have to push my wheels out a bit.
HATE the gauge cluster.
The exhaust sounds harsh, like, racecar harsh. Not so bad inside the cockpit but I wonder what the neighbors would think.
It's not meant to be critical. I love that they did it at all. One of the advantages of the 996 being plentiful, cheap and largely unloved is that people are free to make wonderful stuff with them. After all, it's still a 911.
996 cheap haha
50k engine build to get a 4.0L plus build, 15-20k for sus'p, tires and brake set up like in the video and heck who knows the cost of the interior upgrades
Cheap donor car not included
I love cheap 996s
