Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used 16 gauge wire because I had some laying around.
Leading evidence: 'Use 16 gauge wire' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean pictures' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well these are very simple, inexpensive and fun mods to do.
First is the Hardwired Garage door opener. Very handy and gets rid of my big garage door opener. Looks very stock.
More info on the install can be found on the links below.
Second Mod is the Spoiler switch. Now instead of having to reach down near my ankles it's handy on the center console.
Again, more info on the install can be found on the links below.
Both mods are very easy and take about 20minutes to do.

Could you have put the garage opener on the dash panel? Is there room for the opener card back there?
Where did you get the switches? Approx cost?

Yes, I could have put the garage switch in the center panel, but only on the left side as the right side is pretty full in back. The reason I put in near the ashtray was that I thought it would look a little confusing having two doorlock buttons in the center panel.
You can get the switches from any dealer, I think the door lock one is a special order as no dealer near me had one in stock. They run about $28 - $30 per switch.

You'll find that when you remove the ashtray section there is a lot of room for the opener.
And just as an FYI...
996-613-144-00-A02 is the Doorlock Switch (I used for Garage Door)
996-613-155-10-A05 is the spoiler switch
I just gotta ask though..........
does that make any difference in the speed of opening and closing of the garage door.....?
BTW...that SEAL GREY console looks SHAAAAARP
So which button did you use for spoiler switch? Is it a power window or something else? what about the connectors to the switch? I want to clearly understand how to do this. Thanks for your help.
Opps sorry musicmovesme, forgot about this post.
No, I used the Turbo Spoiler button. Part #996-613-155-10-A05
