This is not a probability of success.

longer than the distance between the front spoiler and the front wheels....I've thought about using two lengths of steel plate but I was hoping that some braino had designed one for low cars that could be carried around with it and used as and when required.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys The kerb in my girlfriends driveway is a little too deep for a 911. Is there any type of ramp that can be used to gradiate the kerb and prevent the front end of the car from scraping on the pavement. Not a ramp as such to raise the car too look under it just ..like a little mini ramp I guess it would have to be about a metre long ie. longer than the distance between the front spoiler and the front wheels....I've thought about using two lengths of steel plate but I was hoping that some braino had designed one for low cars that could be carried around with it and used as and when required. Thanks Donny J

POST 2Original post

Is there anyway to change the angle that you pull in? My parents driveway was like that, if you pulled in dead on, scrape, if you pulled in on an angle you were fine...ultimately they had the driveway redone another possible solution is put a piece of wood, maybe a 2x6 down in front of the curb, when you pull onto it, the front will raise and should clear the curb...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It would have to be 2 by 12 with my driving!! Donny J

POST 4Original post

Cut two 10 inch pieces out of a 2 x 8, (that way you can take them with you). Put them in front of the wheels before you make contact with the curb. You may need more height, but I have the same problem getting into one of the bays in my shop, and I just put a 2 x 8 in place and that does the trick.

POST 6Original post

Get another girlfriend? Kidding, you can place cement or in alot of towns you can contact public works and they will fix it if they installed it.
