I know that Porsche has recommended the M2, but as the M3 is the new and improved version, better grip, traction, etc....should I be looking at them instead of the M2's

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think I may have asked this already...but...tire rack now offers Dunlop Winter Sport M2 AND M3 tires in the correct sizes for our babies. I know that Porsche has recommended the M2, but as the M3 is the new and improved version, better grip, traction, etc....should I be looking at them instead of the M2's Ideas, suggestions.... TIA

POST 2Original post

the Goodyear Ultra-Grip GW-3s. I was told that these are apparently identical other than name (Goodyear owns Dunlop) to the M3s and both are constructed in Germany. I just intalled the GW3s on my c32 and hopefully they will be better than my Yokohama AVS Snow of last year.

POST 3Original post

Based on personal experience, the M2s are great. So you could accept that or go try out the M3s. I think you'd be happy either way. I'll be running Pirelli P210 Snowsports (got a really good deal on the rims/tires). Otherwise, I'd have picked the Dunlops as well.
