Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I wanted to get the Turbo Rear Spoiler for my '03 C2 Coupe. Will it Work/Fit? I already have side skirts, will I need to make any mods to the front of the car so the car doesn't handle different? Thanks

POST 2Original post

You probably could, but you'd have to replace the whole rear deck, and you might lose the active aero-spoiler....

POST 3Original post

I have also heard something from another person that it created some high speed instability issues, dunno much but it was said-

POST 4Original post

www.mashaw.com they have a turbo spoiler for a 996 coupe. don't know anything about the company or products...never purchased anything from them. ask around.

POST 5Original post

We had done an extensive research into fitting a Turbo rear spoiler onto our '02 C2, the TT rear deck will not fit but can be "cut" to fit (the mechanic at Gemballa did not recommend it), the biggest hassle will be the new Turbo wiring harness from the main computer to the dashboard and the rear wing to activate at 75 mph. We also ask the mechanic about adding twin turbos to the C2 engine. The mechanic recommended us "not to do it, it might be cheaper to buy a used TT" Mashaw has a TT rear wing but it does not move up and down automatically. Bocky '02 Carrera C2 coupe (son's)

POST 6Original post

the factory wing will not fit the 996 narrow body or the c4s, your best bet is from ma shaw, mike is a great guy and the wing looks great, once it is properly fitted and painted. cheers

POST 7Original post

what is the cutting involved in putting the turbo spoiler on an n/a car? is it impossible or just hard?

POST 8Original post

Heya Kirby, I should be selling mine pretty soon so let me know if you want it/interested in it.... -Alex

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Alex This was an old post someone renewed. I've since found out your phat, widebody Turbo spoiler will not fit my slim, slender, narrow body C2. =) -Kirby
