Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Ill go and check the car in the morning...but it seems like that would have been checked when the dealer had it all apart....but then again the TECHS aren't always that great at noticing details.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've had my car into the dealer for a window seal replacement in the last 30 days. It has an acute "windy" noise at ANY speed above 5 miles an hour, regardless of windspeed or the direction the car is pointed in (ie.into or perpendicular to the winds direction) This has been noisy when I took delivery, the windows were up, sunroof closed, radio off, RPMs low, and is always noisy...kinda like a whistle coming from around the corner CLOSEST to the sideview mirrors.
For reference, the car is MY03 Coupe, never parked outside, and isnt exposed to the sun or other premature rubber seal exposure. My last PCAR had a much quieter cabin, and that was a "looser" 1999 C4 with 25,000 miles on it.
My dealer discovered the rear window seal needed attention when my 01 C2 coupe was in for a maddening sunroof rattle (when open). I found it strange since the rear window doesn't open of course.
The silver lining is better it's the window seal than rear main seal
Directly where the point of the "A" of the side view mirror contacts the weather strip take your finger and run it along the weather strip and you should feel a bump under it. If not you need a piece of sponge rubber 1" long and the diameter of a pencil. You can lift the flap of weather strip up and rubber cement it up in there.
Check your passenger door, I'll bet it's there. Mine was missing on my drivers side and did exactly what yours is doing.
or do you mind being a lil bit more specific about where I should "feel" for this bump....is it directly next to the switch gear for the mirror controls ...or is it farther "up" the pillar/window area. Ill go and check the car in the morning...but it seems like that would have been checked when the dealer had it all apart....but then again the TECHS aren't always that great at noticing details.
thanks in advance
hey, I have this same problem on both windows. the wind is somehow getting in at above 50 mph and it's sooooo annoying. any suggestions? did finding that bump help you? if so, how did you fix it? can you be more specific? thanks so much~
