This is not a probability of success.

Then of course, have to go out to the car and check on things that the owner's manual mentions.

I think the next round when I have to replace all 4 I will do some research on longevity because I don't track the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have been searching, and waiting and finally I bought it yesterday.
It's a 02 Seal Grey with gray interior, TIP, bi-xenon, PSM, HiFi package, Turbo look II wheels.
It comes with PZero *Rosso* Asimmetrico. I have been reading other threads on tires and opinions for these tires vary from worst to best.
How do they perform in dry condition? Ride comfort? Mileage?
Are they the OEM tires?
Thanks for your responses.
P.S. I can't wait to take it out for a spin again, and again.
Hello and welcome IWC!
Enjoy your ride!!!
About the Pirelli Pzero Rosso, it sems to hold very well on dry conditions , but a little bit less in wet c. Also is not a noisy tire.
waiting for your pics !
I'll second that on the P-Zero Red's. They came on my '02 C2 (also Seal Grey/Graphite Grey), and I liked 'em. The S-02A's that came on my '03 C2 are much noisier, particularly when cold. Both perform quite well, though I think the Michelin Pilot (another OEM) outperforms them all in the wet, based on experience w/ my M5 and Viper GTS.
Congrats on the 911!

Hi everyone. I'm very new to these boards as I just bought my first porsche ever last week. I bought a 99 c2. Being that I'm a tuning fanatic (i've gone through the whole jap tuning phase), I'm eager to start tuning my new baby. <-- if my girlfriend knew about this I'd be dead. keke.
This past weekend I was in new york for some business and met up with this guy I met on this board and bought his litronics and clear tails off of him. I also bought the clear side markers. This week I plan on getting the front and side aero kit and i'm still wondering which wing to get. My car has high mileage 55k but it came with a 100k 6 year warranty from hbl of tysons (100 deductible~ argh...).
Either way, i hope that i can both teach and learn off these boards and look forward to posting~
Welcome to THE Forum, Parkman and iwc.. like everyone else says WE NEED PICS
I have Pirelli's on my 02 Cab. They are quiet but they sure wear fast. Replaced rears at 10K, fronts are ok. I think the next round when I have to replace all 4 I will do some research on longevity because I don't track the car.
Happy posting and don't forget the pics!
Congrats IWC. Welcome to the club. I have an 01 C2 Cab. Prior to that three years of a Boxster. Both had P zero. In my humble opinion they are great tires but not as good as Michelin Pilots. I have just put on a set last week and the difference is in my view noticeable. Hope this helps.
There is no looking back now...you'll always be a Porsche driver. Nothing else will ever quite measure up or compare.
Passion's for Porsche's are for life!
Congrats...
congrats on your porsches!
the only trouble is that you'll never be happy in anything else again.
watch out for the pirellis in the rain--good in the dry. also watch out for blebs on the sidewalls because of poor quality control in pirellis.
i've been much happier with conti sport contact 2's
Thanks for everyone's comments on the tires. Now I know what to expect from them as far as performance and durability.
I know I owe everyone pics. I was too busy driving it on Sunday and didn't get a chance to take pics. Hope you all can understand. I promise I will do so... soon.
May be I am just weird. I went to my garage just to look at the car a few times at night. And carry a smile on my face.
And I never enjoy reading the owner's manual... until now. Then of course, have to go out to the car and check on things that the owner's manual mentions. May be I am just giving excuses to myself to look at the car all the time.
