odd thing after i had to temporarily remove (and now reconnected) my after market radio the convertible rocker switch and my driver seat controls stopped
working. Correction, the driver seat controls continues to work in accessories until the engine is running. As well I can still open and close the top using the driver door key slot operations. Fuses for each are fine. Is there like a shared connection between the two or is it just a coincidence that they are not working? Will replacing the switch in the middle console fix the rocker switch? Not sure how to go about the seat control. Thank you for input.

I was thinking about this and seeing that the driver seat controls stops working when turning on the engine could be due to that ignition switch. It must be just coincidence that this goes bad with the convertible micro switch in the middle console?
Yeah, That micro switch can�t do the job without adequate current to the power top control unit.
Looks as though control unit gets some power through terminal 15 which originates at the ignition switch. Terminal 15 then goes through bridge point 16/2. That bridge point goes to a number of consumables.

Welp replaced the ignition switch. Still no control of top. Is it a possible the rocker switch for the convertible is bad?
am I looking at something else more complex like the flux capacitor, micro switches and ECU?
I can�t also explain why I can move my driver seat initially then after driving it stops responding. The passenger seat is unaffected.
Well $hit I thought I�d go over the fuses again and found that B5 was bad so replaced that and now it works! I was looking at the wrong fuses in row
D. Confusing so many fuses for the convertible operations. Whoop!
