The shifter is in but the car will not go into reverse. I think that I need to adjust the cable end lengths. If so, how are they adjusted, which one should I adjust and what direction? Thanks. Alex

Porsche has a tool that is used for alignment. You place it on the stock shifter and it centers the shifter perfectly (Porsche Locking Bridge tool 9619). Then you attach the cables. Now the bad news... the tool will not fit on the larger diameter B&M shifter - so, you will have to put the stock shifter back in and align the cables. Then (as the B&M instructions forgot to tell you) mark the cables with tape or count the number of notches to the end. Put your B&M back in and positions the cables to the marks or notch count.
