Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would recommend choosing spots very close to 101 or 280 on the Peninsula.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If you want to post a reply, please submit on the thread, same title, on the 993 board. Here is the route detail...(From PeterS) (Big Sur) One of the best Rennlist drives I've done was down to Nepenthe in Big Sur. The restaurant overlooks the ocean from high above and they have good food. http://www.nepenthebigsur.com/ We usually start at the Chevron station at the corner of US 101 and CA 156 at 9:00AM. There are two 156 exits for 156, take the one marked "west". Then we'll drive through the hills on 156 over to Highway 1 south through Monterey/Carmel and on to Big Sur. The driving distance from the Chevron to Nepenthe is about 70 miles. We would plan on meeting at the Chevron at 9:00 and drive away around 9:30 or so. With one or two scenery and photo op stops, that gets us to Nepenthe around noon, just in time for lunch. North bay guys could still meet up in your usual spot time (92/35) and drive down to the Chevron together. On the plus side is Hwy 1 through Big Sur without the summer traffic and fog. On the minus side for some, it will be a longer than usual drive. (that's a plus for me.) Here's a link to some pictures from this same drive earlier this year. http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/alb un54 ACTIONS: If anyone wants to set up meeting places to caravan to the Chevron at 156, post your suggestions. I would recommend choosing spots very close to 101 or 280 on the Peninsula. Not sure of the East Bay. The driving time to 156 from San Mateo a little more than 1 hour (78 miles) staight down Hwy 1. I already have 10 RSVPs confirming their attendance....should be an amazing event. Anthony

POST 3Original post

A picture from the Drive. We had a low turnout this time...5 compared to 38 cars the last one I went to. Even with the low turnout it was a cool drive. More pictures at... http://hobbystage.net/porsche/itzkirb/
