Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

dare i say this, the elise will probably clean the clock of a GT3--in every performance category--right up to the elise's top speed.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There are so many great cars out there for that price...
~20k - Mini Cooper S with John Cooper Works pkg
~30k - Mitsu Evo or Subaru STI
~60k - M3 conv
~90k - Audi RS6
I think I agree with 01C4CabNYC's list, except that a fully loaded Cooper S with Works package would be around $35K instead of $20K.
I'd also consider the new Maserati
For an SUV, I'd consider the Mercedes G55 & the Range Rover.
Or, for the most practical & satisfying combination of all for $100K, I'd get a 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab **HARLEY DAVIDSON** edition, a 2003 Z06 Vette, and a 2002 Harley V-Rod. That way, I'll have a quasi-luxurious but still very practical utility vehicle, a faster than hell sports car, and a bad-*** bike for the weekend.
Simple. A 1996 - 1998 Ferrari F355 Sypder for however much under 100K. The rest as a goodwill payment to the nearest Ferrari mechanic right from the start
Good choice on the V ROD guys - I have a 2002.. Love it.. Excellent handling crusier with plenty of power and looks bad as hell. You can grab some 2002's now for good numbers also, which is the year I would go for. I am currently working on customizing it a bit now and best of all, Porsche designed the motor for Harley!
I've been a bike rider & Harley man for most of my life. I just sold my 01 customized Road King Classic. That said, V-Rods are not my idea of a great bike, or a Harley. All they are is a transistion bike which will grow to compete with H, K, & Y bikes. And, more importantly, it sounds ill.
I didn't think about it but yeah the 55 is over 100k maybe a used one? hehe. As for the can am car, my family has a Mclaren m6b and it's pretty sick 700hp and weighs like 1500 pounds. Very pretty asset.
Maybe a Pro-Drive modded STI for a daily driver and a 65 Corvette, Nasau blue with white interior, 327, 4 speed all stock would be a blast to own. Also maybe a Z06 (late model Z06 that is)....Hmmm so many other cars
Although, money not that much of an object a ferrari would be a nice thing to have to listen to as you go through the gears..
lotus elise + cayenne S. who said you can't have your cake and eat it too
dare i say this, the elise will probably clean the clock of a GT3--in every performance category--right up to the elise's top speed. i've had a hard-on for one of these since they were written about in th british press yrs ago. now we finally get them stateside
If your talking 100k US dollars. Not much worth buying at the current
exchange rate other than a porker. But if it was 100K UK Sterling then the options start to open a little.
Aton Martin DB7 Vantage or maybe the new AMV9. But even these
would probably be difficult to get at that price.
If cost wasn't an option then a Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina but best of
all an Aston Martin Le Mans Vantage or a new Vanquish.
But in my price range all I could currently muster is for maybe a new C4S Cab. I would be more than happy with that......so long as it was more reliable than my current wallet buster.
Titan,
I'm surprised to hear you say that about the V-Rod. True, it's not legendary like the Road King or Fat Boy, but personally I like the look of the V-Rod 10x better than any other Harley. Then again, that's just my opinion and keep in mind that I'm a young fool in my 20's.
My first choice cruiser bike is the BMW R1200C but as cool and techy as that bike is, it seems to get very little respect in the cruiser world, which is why I would buy a V-Rod first.
Well after reading the list it's pretty clear that there isn't a sports car for under 100k that can really match the 996 and I don't mean that in any one way. Sure an elise might give a Porsche a run for it's money on a track but I'm talking about taking everything into account...handeling, ride, bling bling factor, sound.
SL55 is WAY over 100k and the problem with Ferrari's is that you can't put any miles on them without a $5000 service every 10k miles. I was talking about a replacement for whatever function your Porsche serves for you now. Just wondering cause I might be moving soon and I'll have to sell my car here and buy a new one. Can't have a Right Hand Drive car in the states now can I.
