Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got a '02 C2 with the standard black interior. There are a couple of of white scuff marks on the black vinyl (is that stuff vinyl??) of the glove box and one of the pillars. It looks like a really surface level scuff--it almost just looks like residue that should come off easy. I've tried using Lexol Vinylex cleaner--didn't get it out. If any one has seen this type of scuff and figured out a way to get rid of it or repair it, please let me know. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Could be the white polish nurse's use on thier shoes *. Maybe you could try something formulated specifically for that type of product - I've seen a conpany which makes a couple dozen different specially stain removers. * That would explain the location of the scuffs on the glove box door. Hmmm... and if the previous owner was lucky, it's also explain the presence of the scuffs on the pillers !
