It is OEM and I eneded up getting it from a local (to me) used Porsche parts guy.

I love that color and your body kit is very clean looking.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks guys. The interior is your typical Porsche Black but with a few carbon pieces:
Steering wheel (with leather air bag)
shifter
parking brake handle
dash trim strips
Upper console (around the radio and temp. controls)
I'm thinking about painting the center console and backs of the seats in Seal Grey. I'll wait to ee what Carbon_00's look like. He should have his car back today sometime.
Hey Don, help me understand your rear bumper. Is it a factory turbo bumper modified to work with the narrow body car or an aftermarket turbo-look bumper?
Just hit the IMG button (above the text box that you type your reply in), then enter the url of the image you want to insert, then click the OK button.
Alon: Don's back bumper is a factory turbo bumper. I believe he said that the turbo bumper will fit just fine on the narrow body. the difference in width is minimal.
Peter
I measured the width difference and it's over an inch at each side. I'm actually surprised that the bumper fit so well without "kinks" in the corners. It looks spectacular.
I went withthe H&R springs because the X74 setup was too high for my taste. I still don't like it as much as my coilovers from my previous car.
Thanks Itzkirb (I love the color and very envious of your center console).
Alon,
Is that the 996 Cabriolet Aero wing? It looks really good. Is it OEM or aftermarket?
Sweet car. I love that color and your body kit is very clean looking. I might have to copy you, if you don't mind.

Yes, that is the 996 Cabriolet rear wing. I shopped long and hard for a deal on that piece. It is OEM and I eneded up getting it from a local (to me) used Porsche parts guy. It was brand new and had a broken brake light. I had to buy a new light ($104 Can.), mounting bolts and other hardware (about $120 Can.) and a replacement decklid wiring harness to fool the car into thinking that the electric wing was up otherwise you get a warning light (about $90 Can.). Before finding this wing, I had quoted of anywhere from $1400 U.S. to over $2800 U.S. for the OEM piece. I haven't seen any aftermarket knock-offs and wouldn't know what the quality is like. Thank you for the compliments on my car.
I should have the car back today, was to busy to get it last night....will have Alon snap a few pics to post...Gibsons did the paint...perfectionists!
Heimrath setup the car with everything else (great service)
Cheers
