Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Got my 2001 C2 back from the shop. My Crossover valve was bad and replaced. Also a Smoke Injection test on Evap system was done. Upon leaving the shop, when I come to a stop, my oil light comes on. At first it was when I would brake "hard". Now it seems to happen regardless of brake pressure. I checked the oil both via the electronics (display inside after turning key) and actual oil level. Both seem to be ok. Just wondering what might be the problem...obviously when it comes to an oil issue one cant be too careful. Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Tnx sg944t

Provided you are *sure* there is sufficient oil in the engine, my WAG is the wiring/connection to the oil pressure sensor was disturbed when the car was in the shop. My advice would be to take the car back to the shop and ask this remedied. Since you are *sure* there is sufficient oil in the engine you can drive the car. (If there wasn't sufficient oil in the engine I think you're post would have a different subject.)
