Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

just dont let them go over the 44psi max recommended by most tires (engraved on the tires themselves)
Leading evidence: 'Recommend by most tires (engraved' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend by most tires (engraved' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This morning I went for a drive with my Cab. and after 50Km I started noticing the front tires screaming and with very low grip during hard breaking, so I decided to have a look a the preassure and my God, front were at 40 psi and rear at 48 !!! Outside temperature was 29/30 Celsius.
So that means that they gain 6/7 psi... because I had setup them at 34/42. Still what you think about 34/42 when hot, I still think is a bit too much. What do you think ?
it's ok used to happen to me also (ambient outside was 30 to 33).. just dont let them go over the 44psi max recommended by most tires (engraved on the tires themselves)

The max pressure on my P-zeros are over 50. Anyway, those hot numbers are about right from where you started cold. Some say your tire pressures hot should be 42 to be optimum. I don't think it makes too big a diff on the street. That's why I'm surprised you noticed a difference. What were you doing?
Just driving a bit hard exactly where Carlos said, but not as much as I did with my previous Boxster S, but I am starting to get the feeling for the 996 and the very diferent weight distribution.
It seems that the tire preassure plays a very important role in this car. Just let me explain. First the temperature in my garage was 10 Celsius less that outside, and then the friction of cornering, braking, etc.
I have set up cold preassures at 32/36 this afternoon and after some FUN...they were at 37/42 so a bit more on the rear...

Antonio, the link doesn't work.
Anyway, yes, the tire pressures have a lot to do with how our cars behave when pushed hard. I have my favorite twisty roads through some hills out of town, but I usually do my pushing at the track. Watching Carlos's videos, i know you can have fun on the mountain roads there in Spain!!
This should work (5 page article): <a href="http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_pressure.lasso" target="_blank">http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_pressure.lasso</a>
Good article BTW Antonio <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
