Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm seeking advice on DIY paint touch-up for stone chips. I just 'clayed' my car's paint and was shocked to see so many paint chips. Besides the usual places, i found them riddled up the hood to the base of the windshield--including the roof!

POST 2Original post

Rob, give www.autovisuals.com a try. since u have a black car, it shouldn't be too hard to match the color. if u want to order, be sure to tell them u want the "fine tip".

POST 3Original post

I just orderes from www.paintscratch.com they sell a 2 part pen, color then clearcoat and also have a three part for some apps. Haven't used it yet but hope to solve the same problem.

POST 4Original post

I've used Paintscratch. It works...can't speak to the other one tho.
