Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

when i engage reverse the white reversing lights do not come on and the wing mirror (side mirror)
does not angle downwards - can any of the technically minded of you adv if its a just a fuse or needs to dealer to check itfor loose cabling or the such like - if its a fuse can a non tech cabbage like myself change it - and where do i look.
Yes, backup lights and mirror adjust are the same fuse.
The fuse panel in behind a plastic door in the footwell (where the spoiler switch is). Just pull on the door to remove.
The mirror/backup lights fuse is in the second row from the top (Row B) and it is the 5th fuse from the left. Replace only with a like fuse of 7.5A
Had the same problem repaired just this week. Turned out NOT to be a fuse - reverse lights share fuse with cab top operation and top continued to work. Discovered that a relay needed to be replaced that was under warranty.

had same problem. mine was the relay. and got porsche to fix it. was peanuts job and not costly - guessing yr is a manual as well - i blew the relay (if thats the right phrase) by
turning the engine off whilst car was in reverse gear(and mirror point downwards) then next time i got in the car put the car in forward gear and then started the engine. thus blowing the relay
