Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
The only thing being with coil-overs you can set the hieght of the car via threaded shock body.
Leading evidence: 'Set hieght of the car via threaded shock body' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set hieght of the car via threaded shock body' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just talked to PS Racing in Burbank. I would like to get exhaust to make the car sound better. A 2000 996 CAB. He also suggested I do the headers at the same time. Said it would give a nice performance gain. They said that the B&B products were excellent? Any suggestions or other mods I should look into when the car goes in? I am also going to get the B&M shifter installed. Any help or input is greatly appreciated.

b&m is good. I have heard mixed things about b&b for porsche. I have heard nothing but great things for bmw, but not for Porsche for some reason, going back to their stuff for the 993tt. I really can't comment maybe on the fitment ala fabspeed with the 996tt exhaust fitment issues dunno. I do know that if their published figures are right their headers make some good power in conjunction with a set of mufflers whether it be theirs or otherwise. I have checked out some pics of their headers and they look decent for the 996. The main thing to look at is if the tubes are equal length, what diam they are, if they are mandrally bent, and what type of collector they use if there is a nice smooth transition with a fire cone or otherwise merger inside to smooth the flow from the primary runners to the cats. I don't think I would go with their mufflers as they are notoriously too loud no matter what car they are on for my tastes.
I was considering H&R coil overs, but became concerned that I instead I should do a full shock, etc. upgrade.
Does anyone know what I lose by just doing the coil overs or should I do the full shocks etc? I think the full kit is either the ROW30 or the US version.
"Full shocks"? My understanding of coil-overs are that both the shocks and the springs are repaced. The only thing being with coil-overs you can set the hieght of the car via threaded shock body. The PSS9s are also coil overs (aren't they?) but with the added feature of being able to adjust the compression and rebound rates (adjustment **** at the bottom of the front shocks and on top of the shock tower for the rear). The 030 option, whether its a RoW or US version are basically a change in the spring and shocks (different valving, I'm presuming).
As for B&B, I've also heard mixed reviews on their products. I went with Fabspeed maxflow exhausts and I'm not sure which manufacturer I'll go with for the headers.
