Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

During the repair, I had the body shop fill in the license holes and just remove their existance altogether.

If you get pulled over, just tell the cop you are waiting for the bracket to replace the plugs that the previous owner installed!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I live in NJ where you are required to have front and rear licence plates. However, I see other Porches and Ferrari's, etc driving around my area with just the rear plate. Do you think it's worth removing the front plate and installing bumper plugs. I love the look without the plate just don't want to get fined. Do cops really pull you over for having just a rear plate. That's all they ever see anyway...haha
I think it's rare that a cop would pull someone over for not having a plate. If you get nailed speeding or not signaling or some other "moving" violation, the cop will probably walk around the car and add the missing front plate to the other offense.
Put the bumper plugs on your car. Then put the front plate under your passenger side floor mat. If you get pulled over, just tell the cop you are waiting for the bracket to replace the plugs that the previous owner installed!

Mine is "leased" to a "corporate" entity in AR, duplicate registration WA & AR. WA taxes are paid so no basis for complaints there and how can I be expected to always remember to mount the WA plates, in the bonnet just in case.
I don't know about NJ, but in CA it is just a 'fix it' ticket. Meaning, if you put the plate on, then drive down to the court house and show a clerk, they write the ticket off.
In the NY metro area it would be a fine for not having a front plate, not a 'fix it.'
RJT's idea sounds good, tell em the bracket is on order...but if you ever park at a meter, you could possibly get a ticket as well (no way to dance outta that one). In NYC its a $55 ticket for missing plate...
I think if you drive a nice car and you tell then you have a brackety on order, they'll probably let you off. I was just concerned about getting stopped for not having one on, but I notice a lot of gusy with just 1 plate.
cableguy,
my bro has a ferrari, no front plate, never been stopped, but if he parks on the street, he throws the plate in the window...never had a ticket.
I had the front bumper fixed recently due to a run-in with a large piece of road debris. During the repair, I had the body shop fill in the license holes and just remove their existance altogether. Good move or bad? Who knows...but man it looks so much better to have nothing but smooth paint to look at in the front
