Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found this under the front driver side wheel well area when I pulled out of the garage today. I have a 1999 C2, any thoughts on where it came from and what it is?

POST 2Original post

It looks like the water drain grommet under the plastic panel by the washer fluid fill. Here is a look at mine: Was a useful look for me since there was a crumpled leaf in there.

POST 3Original post

I can't help with the correct answer but it is not the rubber drain as that looks differently

POST 7Original post

Looks like the rubber grommet around the flexible brake line, check where it sits in the metal bracket. I replaced mine when they failed with some similar sized grommets, I posted about it on this site with dimensions & part numbers used.
