Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

WTF? ! I went to the website and could find nothing about this event, would you post a link and then we need to all contact the museum with an idea on how to fill the obvious hole in the exhibit.

POST 3Original post

Almost like Porsche stopped manufacturing cars from 1996 to 2007.

Thanks DBJoe996. I got on the Contact Us page and let them know they had a gaping hole in an almost complete exhibit. Sheesh.

POST 6Original post

With the 996 being the hottest 911 in the market, seems they can't get a few examples. I get it. All the YouTubers are hogging them. 🤫

POST 8Original post

2004 Carrera GT also missing.....we are in good company

POST 9Original post

Gotta be the headlights. No GT, no 996.1, no 986.

POST 12Original post

No 996 or 986, 964, 993 coupe. I wonder if cars didn't apply or this is what they selected. There are lots of similar late model 911s

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm making an assumption that the Riesentoter region of PCA had some input as to what went into the lineup. Then again I know a few folks with Lotus cars of various ilks and they had to apply to the museum to have their car selected when they featured that brand earlier this year. (A nose or two was put out of joint.) I'm tempted to show up for a Q&A session, raise my hand, and ask "why are there no examples of the car that saved Porsche from extinction in the late 90's and early 2000's?"
