i took my recently purchased 01 Porsche C4 w Aero for 15k service. I told them about the bubble on the side panels, they said it's covered. i mentioned the bubble in the center of the dash, they said, that's covered under warranty. I guess without warranty, it would have been an expensive repair. They are also replacing the side pillars. Also i asked about PSE (sport exhaust),they said, it's 2200.00 + 450 for labor. Should i do the PSE or wait? i asked if i could hear the PSE, they said they don't have any there at dealership.
oh well. Warranty rocks.

just called them & they said that maybe cheaper on Ebay, but porsche sells for 2200 only.
The dash is coming tomorrow. I hope the new parts they are putting in, won't bubble like the parts i had.
Spent $1200 on the new version PSE, with all electronics. Install was $125 without elecs, $1k with... sounds fantastic, makes it sound like a sports car...
BTW: That $1200 was brand new from a dealer (can't recall which one, think they were in Florida). Also I think that there was recently a group buy on these for around $1350, so rest assured you can get a MUCH better deal than $2200 from a Porsche dealer...

Nice looking Porsche. I just bought the PSE last week for my C2, and yes you can do better than the dealers quoted $2k+

You should call Suncoast and ask, mention Rennlist. Could easily be another 10-15% lurking there.
Make sure you know whether you are getting the electronics (if you want them) when you see a potential bargain on eBay. Costly and not necessarily easy to get in a hurry.
$2200 is waaaay to high for PSE. You can find them for $12-1700, or less... ask your dealer if they will match/beat another advertised price, you may be surprised.
$450 is pretty high for a straight install IMO.

repalced side panels
replaced the side pillars
they said it was an expensive repair if i had to pay for it, but all covered.
I am gonna ask to see how much is the ext warranty. i am guessing 2000.00 max for 2 years.
