This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What do you guys do with the holes in the front bumper if your state does not require a front plate? I want to cover them up. Where can I get covers?

POST 2Original post

<a href="http://www.bumperplugs.com" target="_blank">www.bumperplugs.com</a> will do the trick for you.

POST 3Original post

They will paint your rear bumperettes to match too!

POST 4Original post

Got blasted with sand just north of Sedona - ugh! But not even a speck on Eric's bumper plugs (bumperplugs.com). Hey Eric, why don't you teach Porsche how to paint their bumpers! -DT

POST 5Original post

For what its worth, when i bought my 03 c4s, the dealer gave the plugs to me to save it when i sell it. (here we need the front plates). So, you should be able to order it throgh a dealer.

POST 6Original post

Why does Porsche put those holes in from the factory? My M3 and Mini luckily didn't come with holes and they look much better. If you require or want a front plate the dealer could easily drill the holes...

POST 7Original post

Uh, well, er, that would be too logical now, wouldn't it!

POST 8Original post

They put the holes in so there will be at least 1/4" square on the bumper cover without primer showing through.

POST 9Original post

Holeless here!! <img src="http://a0.cpimg.com/image/62/D1/19703650-dc51-02000180-.jpg" alt=" - " />

POST 10Original post

Nice front end Kevin. Every time I see the light mesh with a dark car, it looks superior!

POST 11Original post

Thanks Don I can't wait to see your rear bumper.. now that sounds funny

POST 12Original post

Be glad the holes are pre-drilled neatly. Here are some quotes from Audiworld.com on dealer-installed front plates (the one I remembered mentioned that it looked like someone chopped the holes with a chisel, but you get the point): "The "holes" wouldn't even be classified as holes on mine. They look more like gouges and tears. It's like they made the holes with a switchblade rather than a drill. Horrible..." "I tried to take off my front plate this weekend to smooth out my front end. I unscrewed the plate and the mount to find horrific holes driled into the bumper. It looks like someone let a 10 year old loose with a drill. The holes in the bumper were jagged and the holes in the metal were left with shards of aluminum sticking out. It couldn't have come from the factory like that?!" JonT
