Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Question for anyone with the Sharkswork one button cabriolet timer relay (the one that allows one-press activation). When you put the top down, what position are the door windows left in? I suspect that the windows are first put down and then the top comes down and then the windows come back up (as if you never took your finger of the button and it finished the cycle). If that's what it does, I wonder if there is a way to make it stop with the top and the windows all down?

POST 2Original post

the button works just like the window switches...if you touch it to open and leave it, its just a timer, so your windows will go down, your top will open, and the windows will go up. You can stop it at any point by clicking it again, just like the window switches.

POST 3Original post

What's special about the Sharkworks button's circuitry? Can't you just use a front window button that has one touch abilities?

POST 4Original post

What's special about it is the timing and relay to operate the top switch as if it WAS a window switch. The trick is in the circuitry, not in the switch. Simple plug and play install as well. What it does is simply automate the manual 'press and hold' feature of the top operation. www.sharkworks.com for more info
