Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 03 c4s had the shaky steering whell >75 mph, it's at the dealer for a check, and i have a rental gallant that actually has a stinky cabin . I can't wait for the day to be over with.

POST 2Original post

My dealer won't even give me a loaner, so consider yourself lucky!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Glad to hear that these loaner boxter's and bmw's are not the norm.

POST 4Original post

i had a civic for a week and a half while my repairs were being done.

POST 5Original post

I just had my car in to Champion for RMS leak. They picked up the tab for 2 days in an Audi A6 from Enterprise. I've never gotten the loaner Boxster, but whose complaining. Mike

POST 6Original post

Just for comparison, I receive a Boxster loaner whenever I have service performed at the P-dealership. If it is a last minute appointment and they do not have a Boxster available, the service manager simply has one of his porters work with me to facilitate pick-up and/or drop-off (I live/work in the city - the dealership is in the burbs). Interestingly, this is the same treatment I receive from the MB dealership when I am having service performed with them (E320 loaner). As others have said on this board, it is important to establish an understanding with your dealer about "service related perks" before signing any documents to purchase a car.

POST 7Original post

T Hendricks - I'm curious, who is your dealer in Chicago? I talked to Motorwerks in Barrington about their loaner program, and while they applied to get the Boxster program set up, the request was apparently decline in favor of the cheap Hondas.

POST 8Original post

Rusnak in Pasadena has a deal with Enterprise rent-a-car. You get a Chevy Malibu or something, but, if you ask real nice you can get upgarded to A4 or C-class.

POST 9Original post

I got a dodge neon from steven's creek porsche in san jose, CA.

POST 10Original post

BSC - I purchased and service my C4S from Napleton Porsche (Westmont) and my MB from Motorwerks (Barrington). The service manager at Napleton is Kerry Terlep and my salesman is Lance Dillon. Ironically, the salesman that I dealt with for years at Motorwerks (Ed Brennan) is now with Napleton Porsche as well.

POST 11Original post

jeeva, Were you able to identify the cause of the shaky steering wheel? My 02 C2 has a shimmy/vibration at certain speeds and I think perhaps a shaky steering wheel might be the same symptom, so curious what yours might have been. Myersville, MD 18" Turbo Look II Wheels Pirelli PZero N4
