he's right, that chevron with techron is the best, and i only use 93 octane chevrone with techrone gas and it makes a world of diffrence

Youi'll be doing your engine's valves & injectors (and yourself) a big favor by using Techron or LubroMoly once in a while.

Both items are approved by Porsche for keeping injectors and intake valves clean and free from the soft carbon that is a result of using unleaded gasolines.

Does anyone know if fuel injection cleaner is a good thing to add to your 996? The stuff in the bottle you add with your gas. Most gas has a detergent now but I want to keep the injectors clean. Thanks. Philip.

The Chevron Techron additive really makes a difference. I had a problem which probably boiled down to bad gas because it happened in both my Porsches after a fill up at a local station. The dealership poured in the Techron additive, told me to run hard (as if they had too!!!) and the sputtering stopped. I make it a routine every forth tank. '02C4S '00 Boxter

Yup, great stuff. Remember you are getting it all the time if you pump Chevron--i.e. full bottle only needed couple of times per year.
