Essentially it is 8 hours of unlimited track time (normally there are no run groups).....cost will be $175 paid to the track if anybody is interested in going.

Rather than a Malibu run....which are great BTW! Next Friday 6/13/03, a couple of us are meeting at Buttonwillow raceway near Bakersfield. Occassionally the track puts on a "test and tune" day. Essentially it is 8 hours of unlimited track time (normally there are no run groups).....cost will be $175 paid to the track if anybody is interested in going. It's about 1.5 hour drive from Los Angeles straight up Interstate 5 freeway. So far I know of three 996 TT's going, plus a 360 Modena Cab, oh and my Dad's LS400! Unconfirmed are a 996 Cab, 2 996 TT's, a 355 Cab and an Audi RS2 Coupe (it's a conversion in case you were wondering). Also a couple of folks may show up from BY Design. Last time we went it was A LOT of fun....hope to see you there, track opens at 9.00am. Email me if you are thinking of going...
