Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey everybody, went to dealer today to check progress off order to find out that car has been built and VIN # has been assigned.. However, I am concerned that car will be held at port until enough cars have arrived to supply every dealership... This is apparently what the process was with the Cayyenne when it was introduced to the U.S . The dealer will confirm with porsche rep on monday..... By the way , I was trying to get an Idea what payment would be on a 39 month lease but residuals on the car are not yet out.. Just to let everybody know, it seems that residuals on porsches have dropped.. ie. Turbo used to be 67% vs 61% now with chase. I may have to buy this car because I don't want to pay more for this GT3 mfsp 110000 vs Turbo mfsp125000....
I asked my dealer that question today and was told two things:
1. He had not been told of any hold on GT3s.
2. He said that the Cayenne is made in much larger numbers and it's launch cannot be compaired to a limited edition car like the GT3.
That being said, he's also checking into the rumor...
Roy
My car is in PDI at Baltimore and my dealer has heard nothing about any hold or delays.
I persoanlly think this rumor is bogus. It makes no sense for Porsche to build the cars, ship them, and then let them sit in port where they run the risk of being damaged instead of shipping them and collecting the money. As soft as their sales are supposed to be, why would they sit on already built and sold cars? They certainly didn't do this with the TT or GT2 launch, why should the GT3 be different.
In any case, I'll either get my car next week or confirm this rumor, so there isn't long to wait.
Karl
Actually they did do it with the TT launch. My car sat at the port for over six weeks because there were issues with the wheels and front bumpers.
That said, I don't believe that there will be a delay with the introduction of the GT3
