This is not a probability of success.

You just gotta get a couple of sets of velcro "pillows" to adjust the lumbar.

Just keep in the back of your mind that you won't be able to use your back seats for kids.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all, looking for advice/suggestions on fixed back bucket seats for my '99 996 C2, I am hoping with the wealth of knowledge and experience of the members here I might get a better idea on what I should be looking for.
A little background, i haven't done my part and actually sat in a bunch of popular brands of seats as the closest shop to me is approximately 3 hrs away, not an excuse I know, I'm not going to say that money is no object, but I do realize that you get what you pay for.
Hoping that some folks on here will have some good suggestions.
Thank you in advance. Also I'm a rather small guy, 5' 4 160ish lbs
I have the 996 GT3 seats which are awesome. However, they are extremely expensive to buy today. So if I was buying a new set of seats, it would be the Recarro Pole Positions.
Im pretty happy with my decision to put pole positions in my car recently. Would recommend them.
Will be over in Maggie Valley on Saturday if want to see how they fit
Car will be doing dual duty, I would love to have a pole position or even an spg, but finding it difficult to find either at this point, and yes I do really like the reproduction gt3 seats from corbeau, curious if anyone has a set of them and could speak to the quality and or fit of them
Just keep in the back of your mind that you won't be able to use your back seats for kids. As soon as my kids out grew the back seat, I put in GT3 seats about 15 years ago. They are comfortable as hell. You just gotta get a couple of sets of velcro "pillows" to adjust the lumbar.
I suspect the Corbeau and Recarros are the same. Good luck with the project.
Once you find a seat that fits you nicely, you may want to see if
these sliders/mounts
will pair up with them. They are a direct bolt-in to the car and offer a boatload of height and reclining adjustability, so you can dial in your seating position precisely. And if thats not enough, it also has provisions to mount the sub straps of your racing harness. It seems like a wonderfully comprehensive package.
