Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was driving on Mulholland drive (in LA) this afternoon (unfortunately in a rental Lincoln Towncar). I ended up behind an older 911 convertible but not for very long. It was probably a 70s model or so. The car was silver and had a wide black stripe from front to back. Based on the windshield, it appeared to be a Speedster or a highly modified convertible. The car looked like it had some front and rear modifications including more aerodynamic (flatter) head lights and the tail lights were very small and build into the bumper. There was no wing but it did have a speedster looking chrome vent on the rear deck lid. The only badge on the rear lid of the car was 911. This was an awesome looking car with a fantastic sound and had a very roadster look. I didnt think there was a speedster style body in the 70s.... Any idea on what animal this might be? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Hard to say by the description but I'll quess it was a 550 (replica) and not a 911.
