Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The seller has agreed to pay for a simular warranty so I checked on 1source and it's about 2500 for a 3 yr.

I am going to mic them when I put the pads on as well as check for cracks but they seem fine.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well my ignition lock is doing the baloney defect thing. Is this a warrantable issue? I heard it is for a 99 but not an 00, so I might be in luck. I also came out to my car today after dealing with the lock last night and no headlights until I figured out moving the key slightly to the left, that my left tip was misaligned as if someone kicked it, and that I had a flat tire with two nails in it! I plugged them and smacked the tip back with my hand. What's next!!!
I am going to replace my brakes again with pagid S pads. Should or do I need to replace the rotors? They show some wear and ATE the other pads. Can you turn them? I was told that you can but it's not advised as you need to chamfer the holes then lathe them but even at that it creates stress points. Any ideas? Is there much difference between rotor manufacturer? zimmerman seem to be the oem replacements but I have seen other manufacturers.
Thanks.
Any advice would be appreciative. BTW I have decided not to install the tech art springs and 03 struts I got and instead am waiting for the revised pss9's to come out.
Thanks again
How many miles you got on the rotors and is it tracked quite often? If your going with Pagids they will eat up rotors more then stock pads as I had to replace my rotors since my mechanic said it could not be turned -reason too much wear and the cross drill holes. Hope you don't mind the sqealing because it does sqeal after breaking in on slow stops. What happened with the ignition lock-musta missed the post. Regards. Mike
I am using pagid S so rotor wear shouldn't be a problem I am told. Ignition lock is still bad and I need to figure out what's up with my warranty before I take it in. I bought the car with a ge warranty but there was some issue about time to transfer it to me and therefore now couldn't be. The seller has agreed to pay for a simular warranty so I checked on 1source and it's about 2500 for a 3 yr. 500 less than the dealer. Dealer want's about 3-3500 depending on terms and deductable. I have 36k on the car right now and just tracked the car hence the wasted brake pads. I need to get a cooling kit for the brakes, anyone know who makes on for a 996 c2? That is why the pads got wasted. They actually disentegrated into the holes because the rotors got so hot. I have not heard of any problems with the squeling with the pagid S if you brake them in right - extremely important.
Also I am going to post the pics of the rotors as they are on my site. If you guys could check them and comment on them that would be much appreciated! Thanks all!

2 things basically can go wrong with rotors: 1) cracks that connect 2 holes together or near enough 2)thickness decrease. It's obviously not possible from the pictures to comment on 2) but with regards to 1), you're totally OK
