I'm hoping the IMS oil lubricating kit installed last year is the answer (for now).

Looks like right headlight was replaced somewhere along the line.

I used a kit from 3M that went to 3000 grit and polishing compound.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wow lots of mods on your car. Love the rims.
How about some pictures of the front bumper please. Is it nose heavy looking ?
I'm wondering if it needs a tail to make it have a balanced look ?
You forgot to mention smoke side marker lenses. :-). Seriously looks very nice. I have a GT2 front end as well, really like it the more I look at it. Welcome to the fray!

Looks like right headlight was replaced somewhere along the line. I too removed the front valence, scraping everything, it was shot.

You could try one of those three step sanding kits to restore that headlight. I did mine and they look brand new. Save you $1000 (or whatever they charge for a headlight...)
Nice pick up! Congrats. I too just picked up my first 911 a few weeks ago. I know the feeling! Looks like you got a well cared for car. Mine was pretty bone stock other than a b&m shifter.
Congrats! I've seen this car on the market here in the bay area for quite sometime. Seller was asking 38K last year, I think last asking price was around 32K. I really like how he put it together.
I used a kit from 3M that went to 3000 grit and polishing compound. The last and (in IMNSHO) most important step is the sealer. They look absolutely brand new now. Done with lights removed from the car, and a couple of beers on a Saturday afternoon.
Nice car. Definitely keep an eye on the IMS, my 2003 C4S with less than 30k miles had the catastrophic IMS failure and it came without any warning. Actually, 2 weeks before it was in for a complete service with no signs of leaking, etc. Glad you have some sort of preventative protection.
Yes, I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on it. I'm hoping the IMS oil lubricating kit installed last year is the answer (for now). from the service shop, it was the latest LN solution last year; from the service records it was from IMS Solution LLC.
If you got "the solution" installed, you shouldn't have any issues. But since Rennlist is all about gloom and doom, you just gotta keep an eye out for the other 25 modes of failure.
Congratulations on the purchase serg911! The car looks amazing. We offer a few different headlight options for the protective film. For more information
