I installed the ballast and the Canbus-thing in the headlight cavity by using industrial Velcro.

Here some observations and cautions for the 996 owner.
The kit itself is of very good quality and well made. Wire harness and components seem to be protected well enough.
I ordered the canbus version and the updated bulbs (+20$). Shipping was ca. $8 and the items arrived within 4 days. Packaging was nice and sufficient.
My 2004 C2 has the regular H7 bulbs, no litronics, but projector lenses.
The install took a little longer than expected. The main problem is the bulb retaining ring that holds the H7 in place. For some reasons the HID bulbs are soldered to the harness. To attach it to the light bulb the retainer ring has to be modified and dremeled significantly. This modification makes them fragile. So better have a spare set handy. The permanent attachment of the Xenon bulb to the harness is very problematic. Not only is the installation somewhat difficult but a burned out light bulb will require the purchase of a new HID bulb + the harness.
I installed the ballast and the Canbus-thing in the headlight cavity by using industrial Velcro. However, space is tight to attach the velcros, except you use the inside of the fender.
Otherwise, the connectors are in deed PnP. The lights start up right away, no annoying lag, and are quite bright (5000K). If one side does not fire up make sure the headlight housing is inserted all the way to make sure the power connectors have good contact before you start switching the polarity of the kit. I can put up some pics if you need it.
I paid ca $180 including shipping. I was under the impression that your kit is closer to $350 and requires the disassembly of the headlight housing, which is significantly more difficult than dr emerging the retainer ring. Please correct me if I am wrong. I can put the moromoto kit into my EX35 and get your set if pricing and effort are comparable, since your kit looks much better.
Oh, I see. You put HID projector bulbs into your headlights, sans projector...I thought you did the Morimoto Mini projector install.
