Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm running 225 front and 265 rear in 18" but they're still well worth it, in my opinion.

Seem to provide the closest rolling diameter's and fat enough to fill the guards on my 2003 NB.

I have a friend who test drives for michelin and says the PS3 are they way to go but having read many reviews and comparisons I'm not 100% convinced.

I also use the Pilot Super Sports and am very happy with them.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tossing up between pilot sport 3 and pilot super sport.
I have a friend who test drives for michelin and says the PS3 are they way to go but having read many reviews and comparisons I'm not 100% convinced. Fair to say the comparison would be different on different cars so I'm wondering if anybody has some input to help me out or make it a harder choice.
Cheers
Not Porsche specific but I think it does the trick:

so... short abstract is that the PSS is the latest generation one and better, if I am not mistaken.
From all what I have read and various friends opinions (and having PSS in the back for a couple of months now), the PSS is one of the top 3 tires out there right now, if not the best.
I can't compare them to either PS2s or PS3s, but I can attest to the PSS being a phenomenal tire in every respect, including cost vs. the PS2. They handle heat well, ride comfortably, are nearly silent, and are absolutely incredible on wet pavement (and wet race tracks!)
The drawback is the relatively small selection of 911 sizes. I'm running 225 front and 265 rear in 18" but they're still well worth it, in my opinion.
Thanks everyone. I'm convinced the PSS's are the way to go. Even michelin say it's the better handling tyre on their website.
I'll be hooking up 235/40/18 and 385/35/18's

The PSS is relatively long-wearing for a performance tire, and has fairly soft sidewalls, so it's quite comfortable on the road. It's also very quiet. Basically, excellent, though more expensive than the fairly decent options from Korea.
I can't compare the PSS to any of the previous Michelins, but I just put the PSS on my 996 and couldn't be happier. I put about 700 miles on them this weekend, mostly highway. They are fairly quiet, ride really well, and the car tracks like it's on rails. I haven't gotten them anywhere near their limits, but so far I'm very impressed.
