Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
When they change from year to year there will be a new diagram, otherwise you can safely assume that the parts will work.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all!
I have what would seem a simple question, but i cant find a definitive answer, so i figured id ask here.
Are the rear interior panels (rear quarters) interchangeable across years? Im trying to find some nice clean ones for my 02 cab, and need to know if they changed throughout the model run?
Any tips are really appreciated!
Thanks!
Best way would be to locate a part supplier like
www.dcauto.com
and look at the part diagrams there. When they change from year to year there will be a new diagram, otherwise you can safely assume that the parts will work.
Also, not sure that 11 hours and 49 minutes was really that long of a time between posting a question and not getting a response, especially overnight.
LOL, thanks for the reply. Guess I got a little impatient, especially since other questions were getting answered!
I really appreciate the reply. Ive gone through a couple of on-line parts catalogs, and I haven't found anything conclusive. THere are a bunch of P/Ns listed, but some of it is dependent on color, and some on year. At one point the P/N was superceded with another, and that one says it may be applicable to other models, etc. I was hoping to find someone who had done the swap and had known for sure. Ill keep looking through the parts diagrams to try to make sense of it, and maybe someone else can chime in if they know for sure.
Thanks!
Also, thanks for the link to DC Auto...I hadn't found them before. Here is what their parts listing says:
No. 996.555.072.13 DFW (-02)
Side trim panel savanna /R
Or
No. 996.555.072.12 DET
Side trim panel leatherette savanna /R
Or
No. 996.555.072.17 DFW (03-)
Side trim panel leather savanna /R
Im assuming the last one is for 2003 or later. But Im not sure what the first one is vs the 2nd one? So does that mean the first or 2nd would fit an 02? Or is the difference between just material/finish?
Thanks again for any insight!
Find your correct PN in the Porsche parts catalog, then look at the model years applicable to that PN.

I guess that sums up my problem; im having trouble deciphering which is the correct P/N for an 02 cab out of the list above. Im having a hard time discerning the differences between the P/Ns listed?
