Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The match almost perfectly. It is a little hard to tell in the picture as the car is dirty and the parts are clean. Love the look

POST 2Original post

Nice job. I've been considering the same thing.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is easy. Is yours Midnight Blue? If so I have the paint

POST 4Original post

Yup. Midnight Blue. You bring the paint, I'll bring the beer!

You did it yourself? Where did you get the paint? I wonder if it will hold up like bumperplugs?

POST 6Original post

Very nice. That's on my to-do list, but is less of an issue as I have a metallic black car.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Got my paint form http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ This is the 4th set I have done and they have held up well (not to to take anything away from BP). Cleaned them scuffed them, used a filler primer, several coats of paint and cleat and there ya go.

POST 9Original post

If you guys are gonna DIY from aerosol, at least use 2 stage products where you can. Most important is the clear, as single-stage never really dries and can get gummy if wiped with certain products. Something like this is perfect. http://www.eastwood.com/spray-max-2k...t-aerosol.html You just smack the button on the bottom and you have 24-48 hours to spray until the can is no good.

POST 10Original post

Looking good. I don't mind the black bumperettes but when you see them color-matched they look so much better. Especially in that nice Forest Green!

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They get so gray and dull. I will be painting my lower rockers as well.

That's the worst part, they turn into a baked gray. Same thing with the cowl trim and the black plastic air diverters by the radiators. I've painted the cowl trim and wiper arms on every 996 I've owned, big difference from something so little.
