Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.
Generation: 20261026T122219Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources
I can always use another one. I used to run a turbo lip, but I just can't do it with the steep inclines, driveways, etc. up here.
Let me know what kind of vodka you like and we'll make the swap.
Tim & Dennis - are you guys serious DIYers on your 996's? I'm down here in Castle Rock with the 2003 C4S I acquired 3 months ago part way thru a multi-month series of projects to correct indiscretions by previous owners plus some upgrades. Would be nice to link up with some other locals who also have grease under their fingernails to compare notes. My email is

.
I ordered a kit to paint my bumperretes as well. Here are my next projects which will complete my to do list for a while:
-water pump at thermostat, preemptive at 63k miles
-g-box detent
-paint bumperretes
Not that this is a badge of honor, but a partial list of my projects before this car gets back on the road:
New flywheel
New clutch
IMS retrofit kit
RMS
2nd gear detent fix
Flush & bleed brake fluid
Install all of the (heretofore missing) front wheel drive components
Remove axles & repack CV's with grease
New water pump
New coolant thermostat
Replace the serpentine belt
Both driver's & passenger's windows need testing, troubleshooting & adjusting
Replace rear motor mounts
.......and those are just the things that come to mind as I'm writing this (I have a formal list in my workshop with almost as many things already checked off).
And Tim, I envy you that lift. Woring on your back from from a creeper sux!
Since we're all in the Greater Metro Denver area, my email is above if any/all of you would like to connect, meet, share info/experiences, grab some beer & burgers.
The lift was a once in a lifetime Craigslist find. $250 bucks. Needed a hydrolic hose and paint but other than that it was great. It is a rotary 3 foot lift. Plenty good for anything I have needed to do.
Count me in your meet as well. I don't have a 911 yet, but would love to meet you guys and learning something new about my next Porsche. I can reached at y2kporsche at gmail dot com.
Cheers,
-K
You should all join the Denver area Porsche Breakfast Club if you haven't already. It's a great group of guys and gals that meet on the second Saturday of every month for breakfast. I try to make it whenever I can, although it has been a while.
