Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

I can still change stuff and any input would be appreciated.

The ceramic rotors are created using specially treated carbon fibers which are silicated in a vacuum at temperatures of over 3,900 degrees Fahrenheit.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Any recommendation on how best to spec a GT3. I have a May allocation and unfortunately due to a job situation, I might be forced to part with my dream car if things don't rebound.
I was thinking:
Artic Siver
Black Mats w/lettering
PCCB
Xenon
Belts - Speed yellow
Metal Door Sill Model Insignia
Crest in Headrest
Alunminum Instrument Dials
Brake/Shifter Carbon/Aluminum
Rear CTR Cons Painted Exterior color
Sports seats painted to match
Thicker Steering Wheel
Still up in the air on PCCB. In the event I am forced to move the car, render an opinion as to whether a vehicle optioned as above would be readily marketable. I can still change stuff and any input would be appreciated.
IMHO, PCCB is one of the premier reasons to get the GT3. Maybe Porsche will wisen up and make PCCB a standard on the car of this calibre and just raise the price to cover it.
just my 2...
kmkj1,
go w/ pccb, this is a performance car. blow off the crests as everyone will put gt3 seats in anyway. the rest is just taste... but no problems in your mix, except you're increasing the window which i see as a negative. check the the thread where we all listed our orders.
and let me know if you want to sell. i or one of my friends will take it!
Might want to change the color. Someone one the 996 Turbo forum wishes he could change the color to the yellow or red because he figured out that 65% of all Porsche are silver. Again just my nickel minus three pennies.

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
Porsche is recognized as a leader in the field of brake technology, and the PCCB system is the result of this experience. The system has elevated the standards of responsiveness, fade, stability, weight and service life to new levels.
The cross-drilled and internally vented brake discs weigh roughly 50% less than standard cast iron brake discs, reducing the amount of unsprung mass the vehicle has to carry. Subsequently, driving performance, agility and handling are all improved.
The PCCB system incorporates six-piston calipers on the front axle, four-piston calipers on the rear and brake pads unique to the system. The ceramic rotors are created using specially treated carbon fibers which are silicated in a vacuum at temperatures of over 3,900 degrees Fahrenheit.
PCCB generates high, constant friction values during braking, particularly from high speed. Operating temperatures aren't as critical as they are in systems utilizing iron rotors. This, in turn, results in shorter stopping distances achieved with better stability and control.
Emergency stops are executed with lower pedal force, lower wear and less abrasion when compared to similar stops using conventional brake systems. In fact, in normal use, the ceramic discs of the PCCB system can last the lifetime of the vehicle!
