The bad is that my Arctic Silver 2002 C4S with 10,200 miles looks as though it will need a new engine. Covered by Porsche. The good is that I am looking at this as an opportunity to install the Porsche Sport Exhaust. After extensive review - it appears to be the best against all aftermarket. Please let me know of the lowest price and where to find the OEM Porsche Sport Exhaust for 996 3.6 engine. THANKS!

I think I got the absolutely lowest price--free . My car had a few recurring problems, and one major one, so I told the service director I was very disappointed, and with this being my third Porsche, felt I needed to be compensated for the problems with my '02 Carrera. He asked what I had in mind, I told him PSE installed, he said he'd speak to the Porsche rep, and they installed PSE (with all the electronics) for free. Can't hurt to ask...

LA Porsche Dismantler had a used PSE with sport exhaust tips for $500. They have a new set with tips for $1k. ANDIAL quoted me $1,500 for the PSE--installed!

Keep your eye out on Ebay. I got mine for $960.00 from Braman Porsche in Florida. They said they had about 4 or 5 more they were putting up for bid in the next few weeks. I actually had planned to make a trip to Charlotte from Raleigh last weekend to get the Euroworks exhaust installed. However they couldn't seem to make time for me Friday or Saturday after telling me earlier in the week that the install only took an hour. They must not need business too bad!
