Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What are the differences between the stock suspension and the US M030. I'm not looking for chatter about the ROW M030 suspension as I can get my fill by doing a search. I need to stay with stock or US option for SCCA autocrossing. If I were to upgrade to M030 and get new Bilstein B8 shocks, would I just need US M030 springs or are other components different?

POST 2Original post

Everything. The US M030 has shocks that are stiffer valved, stiffer springs, and larger sway bars. The difference between ROW and US M030 is the shocks and springs are different similar spring rates less stiff shocks. The US M030 ride height is the same as stock suspension, but stiffer springs. You will need both springs and sway bars with new bilstein if you are trying to build a kit. I do have a ROW M030 for sale if you are interested.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. I have to stay with US M030 but I think I can use any M030 sway bars as I think the ROW and US M030 sway bars are the same.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a difference between MY 2001 and MY 2002 suspensions? I see ROW suspensions listed for MYs 2002-2005. If I find a US M030 suspension, will it work on my 2001 C2?

POST 5Original post

I have a US M030 setup. I was planning on putting it up on Rennlist shortly. It's from a 40 Anniversary edition and it only had 35k miles on it. I have pictures and can send, just ping me your email John

POST 7Original post

I have the US M030 that I bought used on Rennlist a few years ago and am very happy with the set up over stock.
