Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$$$ being no object since we drive a Porsche , let's see some lists of the top 5 dreams mods you would do to your baby. Mine goes (in order of actually occuring). 1. GT3 Bumper. 2. B&M short shifter. 3. GT3 side skirts. 4. Euro 030 suspension. 5. Porsche sports exhaust (always open). Actually, after doing the above, I don't really know if I would want to do anything else.

POST 2Original post

Let me suggest you get the B&M first. It will change your car dramatically, and can be found for $200 and easily installed at home. Here's my list: 1. Fabspeeds 2. H&R coilovers/GT3 swaybars 3. Lightweight flywheel 4. 19" Kinesis wheels/appropriate tires 5. Roll Bar 6. Move far from Michigan where the roads suck and there's nowhere to drive anyway. (except a track here and there, which I have covered in my 125cc kart) 7. oh yea, brakes...big ones...the yellow composite kind... 1999 C2 Slate Grey Metallic 18"s, badge delete, B&M, H&R springs

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ceramic brakes on the 996 C2, eh? Is that even possible without overhauling a whole lotta other stuff? Substitute Chicago for Michigan and I might include your number 6 as my number 6 as well

POST 4Original post

Hehe... you just described my car (except I have the full GT3 aerokit)

POST 5Original post

1. Cargraphic aero kit 2. RoW M030 3. B&M 4. Crazy *** stero system 5. GT-3 seats Everyting else has already been done

POST 6Original post

I'd settle for a really classy T-Top installation. My 99 C2, +$$, is available for anyone qualified and wanting to make a good first effort.

POST 7Original post

Already have: B&M H&R GHL Exhaust and headers Factory aero kit B-K Harness bar and fire extinguisher mount 3rd radiator Sparco 6 point harnesses BMC cold air intake InvincaShield brake ducts io port camera mount Wish List: TPC supercharger GT3seats 2 sets of 18 inch wheels so I can upgrade to turbo brakes Unlimited money to attend professional racing schools and driver ed events all over the world GT3-R or better yet GT3-RS Regards, slodrivingmike

POST 8Original post

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey Loren, lovely car! I've got the black interior but other than that, your car is my dream car!!!!!!!

POST 10Original post

going from a faded out 1991 honda accord 363,478 miles and counting to a new Porsche C4S. that's "mod" enough...at least until it arrives, then we'll see how much i can make it a "not" porsche. <down boy, down>

POST 14Original post

1.Lower 2.Turbocharge 3.Brakes, etc. 4.Turbo rear bumper cover I figure that's about 32K, but since I'm retired Let's see what I can figure out. Hmmm....64000 Rennlist subscribers divided by $32,000 = $.50/ea. Don Watson 19 Farm Hill Road Dennis, MA 02638 Thanks folks!

POST 17Original post

just got my car back and went a bit picture crazy with the digicam. all my mods are done for now until warranty expires next year. Will put 400+ hp after that period. Picture is on an incline, so each corner looks proped.
