Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Two questions: Cold tire pressures for a track day - should I be adding 3-5 lbs of extra air over and above recommended on the Conti Sport 2's?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am the lucky owner of a new 02 C4S. I have not had any real opportunity yet to drive it aggressively. My impression is that it understeers more than a c2.
Two questions: Cold tire pressures for a track day - should I be adding 3-5 lbs of extra air over and above recommended on the Conti Sport 2's?
To help with understeer should I try adding less air to the fronts?
I have some track experience with C2's - anything I should be doing different - or expect to be different with the C4S?
Thanks in advance.

It will love to be driven aggresively at the track.

They are too high. Several very interesting threads have been posted, with varying opinions. Check the archives. You can always try the factory pressures, then adjust them 1-2 lbs at a time to see which one fits you, the track, the weather, best. I use 32F/38R cold on P-Zero Assims.

Several prior threads on this as well. My impression from the threads: The differences are probably only noticeable at the edge of performance, a place where you do not need to be in DE. Of course, since I own one, the C4S willl beat the C2
.
Actually, since you have track experience on a C2 and soon will have the same on a C4S, you might provide us with some enlightening impreessions.

You'll probably want the track hot tire pressures to be around 38 front and 40 rear with the stock tires, perhaps a tad higher. As Palting suggested, you'll have to do some experimentation once at the track. I'd try starting out with cold pressures at 33 and 35 front and rear, respectively, and see how it feels once the tires get up to their hot operating temps.
